Well, since my last blog (if you can even call it that, because it wasn't much of anything) Logan has turned one!! I don't know how that is even possible...but I have accepted it and I am really enjoying this age. He is running around everywhere! He loves being outside and he still loves his tractors and farm animals. That is why we chose the farm theme for his very first birthday party. It was a huge success. All our family was there...including Uncle Jacob all the way from Iraq and Aunt Ashley all the way from NYC! I was exhausted after the whole thing was over but had a very good time! Logan loved it! He played his little heart out!! So cute!!

Since the big party...we have went to Schlitterbahn with the Bures Clan...yes all the babies! We had a 4 year old, 3.5 year old, 1 year old, and a 10 month old! Well, I guess we were minus one, Hallie didn't make this trip...we thought 4 months was a little too early!! We had a blast. Logan had so much fun! He played all day long in the kiddie area. He had a huge smile on his face!!
We also got our very first big boy hair cut! Aunt BB got out her scissors and went to work on Logan's hair. I swear I could have cried when she was done! He looked like such a big boy!! It was another bitter-sweet moment!!
We also got our first pool and we have been spending many afternoons in it! He loves that thing. He gets in and out...big smiles the whole time!
Well, Matt and I are heading for our first vacation without Logan. We are going to New Braunfels with our friends. I can't wait to kick back with the group, but oh how I am going to miss my little man!! He is staying at Grammy and Popo's (my parents') so I am sure he won't even notice we are gone!
Well, I guess that is enough for now!!! I hope to get better at posting!!
